Mid Continent Controls offers a variety of Ground Fault Interrupters (GFIs) that will work in 115VAC or 230VAC aircraft environments. Our GFIs are designed to quickly stop the flow of electricity in the event of a ground fault, thus preventing serious injury. The Mid Continent Controls GFIs also feature a “TEST” button to induce a ground fault for testing purposes. The GFIs have been designed to work with grounded and non-grounded inverters. There are two options for the dual voltage GFIs; one requiring DC power and one that functions with AC power only.
