Mid Continent Controls’ AC Power Controllers are designed specifically for the aircraft environment and control the distribution of AC power to a Mid Continent Controls remote turn on configured AC outlet. These devices utilize the remote turn on circuit in the AC outlet to detect when a plug has been properly inserted. A signal is sent back to the power controller which then provides AC power back to the outlet until the plug has been removed. The power controllers can be configured to also limit the amount of current using re-settable circuit breakers or fuses.
