You understand that upon receiving a job offer a drug screening and pre-employment background check will be required as a condition of employment as part of the Mid Continent Controls, Inc. Drug Free Workplace Policy and to meet DOT/FAA regulations. DOT/FAA regulations require that an applicant for safety sensitive functions be notified that he/she will be tested for the presence of marijuana, cocaine, PCP, amphetamines, and opiates before performing any safety sensitive duties. You understand that if you are offered a position, you will have to submit to a pre-employment urine drug test and receive a verified negative drug test result before performing any duties. If you perform safety sensitive duties you will also be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
You understand that unsatisfactory results from, refusal to cooperate with, or any attempt to affect the results of these pre-employment checks will result in withdrawal of any employment offer or termination of employment if already employed.
Regardless of whether or not you become employed by the company, you recognize that this application is not and should not be considered a contract of employment. You understand that employment at the company is on an at-will basis and that your employment may be terminated with or without cause, and without notice, at any time, at your option or the company’s unless specifically provided otherwise in a written employment contract. You further understand that no company employee or representative has the authority to enter into a contract regarding duration or terms and conditions of employment other that an officer or official of the company, and then only by means of a signed written document.
